Condition Assessments - CEI approaches each report focused on
regulatory requirements and institutional specifications. Reviewers
give emphasis to judging the sufficiency of described repair costs
and reserves, while determining any remaining open issues. CEI engineers,
architects and environmental scientists have the expertise and experience
necessary to provide a "reality-check" of a report's context
and practicality.
Seismic Probable Maximum Loss PML reviews are performed
according to industry and institutional protocols. PML reviews are
performed by CA registered structural engineers with 15 years of
experience. CEI has performed seismic studies on the tallest high
rise on the west coast as well as numerous other high rise buildings
throughout California and Hawaii.
Phase I Environmental Site Assessments - Environmental scientists
at CEI review reports against the requirements of ASTM Standards
and any additional client requirements. Reviewers flag any open
issues that could be raised at a later date by B-Piece buyers. CEI
desk reviews serve as an additional credit-enhancement service for
lenders.
Construction
Budget Review - CEI has extensive experience administering complex
construction projects throughout the nation. CEI's engineers and
architects can review construction budgets for site development,
hotel and office buildout and all types of new construction and
